Benin uses a 1:1 variant of its national flag (with shorer stripes) as a fin flash. This fin flash was used between 1962-1975 and from 1991 onward.
Between 1975-1991 the then national flag (green with red star) was used as fin flash.
Ivan Sache, 23 April 2000
Album des Pavillons issue 2000 [pay00] does not mention fin flash at all. However, the 2001 correction [pay01] addes note "The natonal flag is painted on the fin."
